DAPPING DIE 50MM 17 DEPRESSIONS

Dapping tools are used to shape softer metals and waxes by punching into the depression of the blocks and dies. The punches and blocks are matched so that perfect hemispheres and domes can be formed in specified sizes. Has 17 hemispherical depressions from 1/8" (3.2 mm) to 7/8" (22 mm) by 1/16" (1.6 mm), plus 1" (25 mm), 1-1/8" (29 mm), 1-1/4" (32 mm) and 1-3/8" (35 mm). Depressions match punches and have a satin smooth finish. Die is made high-grade, properly hardened steel and measures 2" (51 mm) on all sides.
