DAPPING DIE & DESIGN BLOCK 14 DEPRESSIONS

Dapping tools are used to shape softer metals and waxes by punching into the depression of the blocks and dies. The punches and blocks are matched so that perfect hemispheres and domes can be formed in specified sizes. Has 14 hemispherical depressions from 1/8" (3.2 mm) to 7/8" (22 mm) by 1/16" (1.6 mm), plus 1" (25 mm). Depressions match punches and have a satin smooth finish. The edges of this high grade steel hardened block have various sized semi-circles for shaping rings, stone settings, bezels, etc. Measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/2" x 7/8" (95 x 64 x 22 mm).
