The screw on this puller exerts controlled pressure to force tiny wheels, gears and clock hands away from the post without damaging. Absolutely a must for repairing or modifying railroad rolling stock, clock repair, and slot car motor gear removal. Overall Height of screw & post is 1-1/4". Post is 7/16". Jaw frame is 1" wide, stationary with 1/8" opening.
